Scams and Voter's Responsibility

Scams by Government officials or by Ministers are a curse for the development of an Economy. It would suck the money meant for development in the coffers of an Individual. The Governments run by transparent management will oil the the growth machinery.

The reverse will happen if the scams are broke out. It will retard the growth. The recent scam in India regarding 3G Spectrum allocation is definitely going to affect the growth of Indian Economy. The scam will have its negative impact politically and economically.

Stalling the proceedings of Parliment by the opposition is costing the tax payers money. The fund which was involved in the scam, had come to the ministry, surely it could have benefitted the concerned Ministry and in turn it would have benefitted the Country.

If a country want to grow economically, then it should select skilled and corrupt free people as their representatives. The selection of people's representatives are in the hands of the people. Unless people remain alert while voting, useless people will get in to the Ministry.

A Country's growth remains not in the hands of the Government Heads or not in the hands of Minister, but it lies in the hands of every voter. If every voter knows his responsibility, then these types of Scams will not break out in the future.
